Funded Account & Consistency
What is the funded consistency rule?
Instant Funding has a 20% consistency requirement. Your single most profitable trading day cannot account for more than 20% of your total profit during the current payout cycle.
How is consistency calculated?
Your best trading day's profit is divided by your total profit for the current payout cycle. For example, if your best trading day generates $1,000, your total cycle profit must reach at least $5,000 to satisfy a 20% consistency requirement.
Does the consistency calculation reset after a payout?
Yes. The consistency calculation resets following every approved payout.
Drawdown Rules
What is the maximum drawdown?
Instant Funding has a 5% trailing maximum drawdown.
How does trailing drawdown work?
The drawdown threshold is calculated using your closed end-of-day (EOD) balance. It moves upward as your account records higher qualifying EOD balances. Once your EOD balance reaches a profit equal to 5% of your initial account balance, the threshold locks at the initial starting balance under the main drawdown policy.
Do floating profits increase the drawdown threshold?
No. Intraday floating profits and temporary balance peaks do not raise the threshold. Only qualifying closed profits reflected in the EOD balance can move it upward.
Can the drawdown threshold move back down?
No. Once the threshold moves upward, it does not move back down, even if your account subsequently incurs losses.
Can my account breach the drawdown limit during the trading day?
Yes. Breach monitoring is continuous. If your account equity or balance falls below the active drawdown threshold during trading hours, your account is breached.
What is the daily loss limit?
The daily loss limit is 3%. It is calculated using the higher of your account balance or equity at the start of the trading day. Exceeding the permitted daily loss limit results in an account breach.
News Trading
Is news trading allowed?
News trading is permitted subject to restrictions. Traders must not open or close trades on the affected trading pair within 8 minutes before or 8 minutes after a high-impact news release. For a USD release at 14:30, the restricted window on USD-related pairs is 14:22 to 14:38.
Any violation of the news trading rules may result in a consistency score being applied at the discretion of the CK Prop Firm Risk Team following a review of the activity and circumstances. Traders are responsible for monitoring the economic calendar and complying with all applicable restrictions.
Inactivity Policy
How long can my Instant Funding account remain inactive?
Accounts are subject to a 28-day inactivity rule. To remain active, you must open and close at least one trade within the permitted inactivity period. Failure to complete a trade within 28 consecutive days may result in an account breach.
Lot Size Rules
What are the maximum lot size limits?
Maximum combined open lot limits apply to all account types.
Account Size | Maximum Combined Open Lots |
|---|---|
$10,000 | 5 lots |
$25,000 | 10 lots |
$50,000 | 20 lots |
$100,000 | 40 lots |
$200,000 | 60 lots |
$300,000 | 60 lots |
Do lot size limits apply to all open trades combined?
Yes. The maximum lot limit applies to the combined size of all open trades across instruments. You must not exceed the permitted total at any time. For example, on a $100,000 account, opening 39 lots on EURUSD and 2 lots on XAUUSD results in 41 combined lots, exceeding the 40-lot limit.
Payout Rules
What is the funded consistency requirement?
Instant Funding has a 20% consistency requirement. Your best trading day must not account for more than 20% of your total profit during the current payout cycle.
What is the minimum profit required for each payout cycle?
The minimum profit thresholds are listed in the payout table above and depend on account size and payout cycle.
Is there a minimum payout amount?
No. There is no minimum payout amount. Traders must meet the applicable profit requirements and maintain the required account buffer after withdrawals. If the required buffer is breached, the account is considered breached.
What is the required account buffer?
Account Size | Required Balance |
|---|---|
$10,000 | $10,700 |
$25,000 | $26,100 |
$50,000 | $52,100 |
$100,000 | $103,100 |
$200,000 | $206,100 |
$300,000 | $309,100 |
Only funds above the required baseline balance are available for withdrawal, subject to applicable payout rules.
What is the payout profit split?
Approved payouts follow an 80/20 profit split. Traders receive 80% of the approved withdrawal amount, while CK Propfirm retains 20%.
How long do payouts take?
Once approved, the withdrawal is deducted from the trading balance and disbursed to the payment method within two business days.
Can I trade while a payout is pending?
Yes. However, you must treat the requested withdrawal as already deducted. Trading into the protected buffer before approval may cause rejection. Falling below the required threshold after deduction risks your account.
When do unrestricted withdrawals begin?
Unrestricted withdrawals begin after the fifth payout. All other applicable payout requirements remain in effect.
