Daily Drawdown

The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount you are permitted to lose during a single trading day. It is calculated using the higher value between your account balance and equity at the start of the trading day.

Daily Loss Limits by Account Type

1 Step Standard: 3%
2 Step Standard: 4%
2 Step Pro: 4%
Instant Funding: 3%

Example 1 – Higher Starting Equity

Starting Balance: $102,000
Starting Equity: $104,000
Daily Loss Limit: 4% of $104,000 = $4,160
Minimum Permitted Equity: $99,840

Your equity must remain above $99,840 throughout the trading day.

Example 2 – Higher Starting Balance

Starting Balance: $100,000
Starting Equity: $98,000
Daily Loss Limit: 4% of $100,000 = $4,000
Minimum Permitted Equity: $96,000

Your equity must remain above $96,000 throughout the trading day.

Important Rules to Remember

Both floating (unrealized) and closed (realized) profit and loss count toward the Daily Loss Limit. Your equity must never touch or fall below the applicable daily loss threshold. Reaching or crossing the threshold constitutes a breach. The Daily Loss Limit resets daily at 22:00 Server Time (GMT). You can check the daily reset timer directly on your CK Prop Firm dashboard. Breaching the Daily Loss Limit is a hard rule violation and will result in account closure.

Always monitor your account balance and equity to ensure you remain within the permitted daily loss limit.
